According to Anna, “Her son handed me their pet hedgehog who was fast asleep and he nestled perfectly, on his back, in the palm of my hand. Slowly waking with a squiggle of his tiny nose, I was instantly besotted!” All products are handmade in the central London studio, and are first thrown on the wheel in ivory white porcelain. This tea light holder is then pierced, sponged, bisque fired, glazed and finally high fired to 1260 degrees so that the porcelain vitrifies and becomes wonderfully translucent.
