JULIEN: The UK has been growing steadily over the past couple years, only slowing slightly when COVID first hit. Sales have largely picked up over the past six months, with the highest sales volume to date in the UK coming this past quarter in Q1 2021. Do you have any advice for new businesses starting out in the world of gifts? TARA: Engage people and listen! Consumers crave in-person shopping and supporting their own community. It opens the door to showing that shopper what the moon looked like on the day he/she was born, as well as opening the door to a sale. You’ll know how to communicate better virtually when you have listened to not only what people want, but what they need. Q. What can we expect from the company in the future? AURELIE: In the future we’re planning to continue releasing exciting new jewelry collections, but we’re also exploring new markets such as pet products, children’s jewelry, home goods, athleisure styles suitable for fitness activities and apparel.
