The new BioBall is made with a new bio-based formula, which replaces 50% of fossil-derived substances with a renewable sourced plant derivative. The new formula not only makes it the first green ball, but also contributes to improving its flexibility and, consequently, its playability. Available in many varieties the new BioBall has been certified “OK Bio-Based” by TÜV Austria, the leading European organic certification body that guarantees the high quality of the renewability of raw materials used. Mondo is also pleased to announce ReNewToys, a brand-new set of beach products – buckets, rakes, spades and more – built using recycled materials coming from the pre-consumer food chain. Food grade plastics cannot contain dyes or other additives deemed harmful to humans, therefore enhancing the chemical safety of Mondo toys which are often used by toddlers. www.mondotoys.com LESSER AND PAVEY Lesser and Pavey is introducing a new addition to the highly popular William Morris range of fine ceramics. The full range captures the original designs, class and quality of the artwork and presents these desirable illustrations in practical forms for the home. The Lily range has just been added to the full range of tabletop items. This range, with bold floral, dominates the mix of blue and pink that form the original William Morris design. This is now captured on tea for one, butter dish, fine mugs, fine ceramics, melamine trays, lunch box and true environmentally- friendly bamboo items and social stationery items. www.leonardo.co.uk VOICE INTERNATIONAL Introducing Voice International’s capsule Pinto Collection, which is its first using Ecosilver. Ecosilver is made of 100 percent recycled silver and as a result is an eco-friendly alternative to sterling silver, yet still having the same quality and hypoallergenic properties. This new collection sees the company’s best-selling Pinto studs reimagined from brass into silver and relaunched as a tri-collection: a necklace, ring and earrings. These dainty pieces are made from hammered Ecosilver and are inspired by Ugandan beans and their naturally different shapes, lines, textures and colours. Each piece features three interlocking miniature bean shapes, creating a simple yet eye-catching design. The Pinto Collection is released alongside a new, smaller version of our popular hammered hoops, entwined silver ring and studs, as well as the half moon ring, all now made from Ecosilver. Voice International exists to empower women through creative employment. Every product is handmade in Uganda by an artisan who has developed the skills to design and create jewellery, hair accessories, bags and kimonos. www.voiceinternational.org.uk PORTMEIRION Award-winning chef and designer Sophie Conran has continued her collaboration with Portmeirion by designing two new shapes to join the existing tableware collection. The two new designs, Arbor and Floret, feature organic-inspired lines and are available in a choice of colours – Creamy White and Dove Grey. Pieces within the Arbor range include dinner plates, salad plates, pasta bowls, all-purpose bowls, mugs, serving bowls and platters. Focussed more on serveware, products within the Floret range include a choice of serving bowls (small – sold in a set of two – medium and large) along with all-purpose bowls. The shapes have been designed to work together so they can be mixed and matched to create a truly beautiful collection. Made in Portugal, the stoneware collection has been created using organic Iberian clay, which has been fired once to keep the environmental impact of the production process low. Further adding to the new addition’s eco credentials, all the packaging is fully recyclable. The collection also includes glassware and cutlery. The Floret cutlery – the first cutlery range Sophie Conran has designed for Portmeirion – is crafted from stainless steel and features a 24-piece set (table fork, knife, dessert spoon and teaspoon), slotted spoon, serving spoon, serving fork and salad servers. The Arbor glassware features a delicate pinch design and includes a set of two tumblers, hi-balls and pitcher. www.portmeirion.co.uk `
