What prompted you to launch the business? The flora and fauna my home is surrounded by provides a rich source of inspiration for my illustrations. Having learnt that Mosney Mill was the location of an old calico printing mill meant that I knew that I had to bring print back to Mosney. What challenges have you overcome since the company’s launch? Most recently lockdown has meant we have reviewed all our working practices to look at engaging with our customers through social media and our website. We are currently looking at the most efficient ways to export our products against the current post Brexit regulations. Tell us about your product offering. Mosney Mill ranges continue to evolve and develop using my illustrations taken from the flora and fauna I observe on the land around my home. Textiles were our starting point due to the connection with calico printing at Mosney Mill leading to a complementary range of ceramics all manufactured in the UK. A partnership with Marmalade of London led to the development of a range of home fragrances, Mosney Mill Botanicals, using illustrations that echo those found on our other products. More recently we are looking at developing a range of stationery. This started with the launch of our Wildflower Seed Cards. What are your most popular products? At present our newly launched Wildflower 28
