Industry news Find out about all the latest from the fashion accessories industry in our regular news roundup FIRST NAMES REVEALED FOR UK JEWELLERY FESTIVAL 2023 The first exhibitors set to showcase their latest collections and products at the 2023 edition of the UK Jewellery Festival Trade Event this September, have been unveiled. Precious metal refiner and manufacturer the Betts Group will join the likes of gemstone trader Crystal Myths, British fine jewellery manufacturer Hockley Mint, jewellery supplier IBB London, diamond marketplace Nivoda, watch brand Rotary and piercing specialist Studex in exhibiting at the now two-day event, which will take place this September at the Hilton London Metropole in central London. Lighting specialist Parify, insurance provider TH March and the National Association of Jewellers will also join the event as supporters. The UK Jewellery Festival is a two-day trade event, organised by Retail Jeweller. Held on the 5-6 September 2023, the event is timed to allow buyers to place those all-important Christmas orders and the show will also feature a programme of business-boosting seminar sessions and free catering for all visitors. The UK Jewellery Festival Trade Event will feature a late-night opening with champagne reception at the end of day one (5 September) of the show and the industry’s biggest awards celebration, the UK Jewellery Awards will follow at the end of day two (6 September). Buyers attending last year’s UK Jewellery Festival trade event included the likes of Beaverbrooks, Signet, John Lewis, Historic Royal Palaces, ROX, John Pass Jewellers, Sarah Layton Jewellers, Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery, Niche Jewellery, H&T Group and many more. Commenting on last year’s UK Jewellery Festival Trade Event Kevan Jenkinson sales director at Hockley Mint said: “The level and quality of suppliers in the room exceeded my expectations and meant that the retailers that came to the show were of excellent calibre.” Kathryn Darwin business manager at Studex added: “We took the opportunity to engage with a fantastic cross section of section, including some of our own customers as well as potential new retailers. “We found the event incredibly well run and visitors were really receptive to speaking with exhibitors and spending time at each of the stands.” Pre-registration for the 2023 UK Jewellery Festival Trade Event is now open.
