The leather purse range has been incredibly popular and successful since we developed this further in 2012. Sheepskin Slippers and moccasins continue to be one of our bestselling lines every year. People love to be comfy! Have any styles taken you by surprise with their popularity? The toy animals, these fly out of the door! How do you keep your designs fresh and current? Do you follow trends? We tend to keep to very traditional, classic style concepts generally. However, in recent years we have introduced some seasonal ontrend colours into our slipper and purse lines. What sets you apart from your competitors? We pride ourselves on aiming to hold stock throughout the AW season so customers don’t have to bulk order and know they can always re-order at a later date. We also don’t have pack sizes on the majority of our products allowing customers to just top up with the sizes they actually need. We feel this really helps our customers having to make financial commitment to stock they don’t need/aren’t selling. How are you finding the current climate in the UK? Is it affecting business? It is definitely noticeably quiet at the moment and we do worry for the future of independent retailers, hopefully people can adapt and evolve to help them survive until things improve.
