All items are handmade with natural sustainable materials - palm leaves, raffia and grasses. These grow in the wild in their native countries, Madagascar and Morocco, so are not farmed and are harvested with care. It takes from a couple of hours to a few days to create each item. Many artisans work from home or in small groups, not in factories, and all are paid a fair wage. This is not ‘fast fashion’!
