This summer we have been selling lots of Malu Pires 100 percent natural straw hats, which are handmade in Brazil; handcrafted Golden Grass Jewellery, made from a delicate flowering plant found in the Brazilian state of Tocantins, by local artisans; and artisanal handcrocheted bags which contain a QR code so the owner can discover who made their bag. Are you active on social media, and how do you use it for your business? Yes, we are very active on social media adding new reels, stories and posts to Instagram and TikTok daily. We use social media to showcase new products, talk about the DNA of our business and also to show how our luxury products can be styled and used. What are your plans to develop your online presence? We are continuously developing our website in order to improve the shopping experience for our customers. Do you undertake any charitable initiatives? If so, what? Philanthropy, sustainability and charitable causes are extremely important to us and we aim to engage only with suppliers who embrace these values. Lachesis London has established a partnership with two Brazilian charities in Campo Grande, Brazil: MASC (Movimento de Apoio Social Campo-grandense) who provide support to improve the lives of the community of Vila Anache, and Grupo Espirita da Prece which helps more than 300 homeless families by providing food, clothing and day shelter. Do you attend any shows and if so, which ones and why? We exhibited at The Spirit of Christmas last year which was our first show. It was a great experience for brand exposure and to get to know customers and other businesses.
