55 PROFILE REVOLUTIONISING EVENTS When did you start up the company and why? Officially, Xpofairs launched in 2024, but our story goes back much further. Our founders, (who have over 70 years of combined experience in exhibiting and visiting at traditional trade shows) have been grappling with the challenges of this industry for years. We started by talking to hundreds of companies and buyers, alongside reflecting on our own experiences. The message was clear: while everyone loves the excitement and opportunities of trade shows, the soaring costs, logistical hassles, and diminishing returns are causing growing scepticism. Everyone is becoming more aware of the environmental impact of trade shows Driven by these insights, we set out on a mission to reinvent trade shows from the ground up – creating events by exhibitors, for exhibitors. Our goal is to make trade shows faster, cheaper, easier and better for everyone.
